Warm up involved writing a congruence statement based on given triangles. Passed back assessments, then took introductory notes on triangle congruence unit. Reflected on our experiences with the project.

Warm up involved writing the equation of a line perpendicular to a given line, through a given point. Went over homework, did a congruence problem requiring some algebra (see this video for a similar problem) then reviewed some basic triangle terminology before going to the computer lab to discover congruence criteria and practice on Desmos with recognizing the 4 'shortcuts' (SSS, SAS, AAS, and ASA).

some great examples very similar to the hw: link
Warm up involved recognizing which triangle congruence criteria was illustrated in 2 different figures. Went over homework, then did more practice with recognizing SSS, SAS, AAS, and ASA. (See here for the video version.) Went to the computer lab for online practice related to transformations and triangles.
