Labor day; no classes
Tuesday/Wednesday
Warm up on parallel and perpendicular lines and their linear equations. Went over homework. Examined how to create perpendicular bisectors on the coordinate plane through real-world geography related activities, including the locating of a hospital and/or the splitting of a town to deliver pizza.

Thursday/Friday
Warm up dealt with perimeter of a polygon by using the distance formula or Pythagorean theorem. Went over the practice assessment in detail, working in groups to correct and fix any mistakes. Learned about the basics of logic, including If/Then statements, statement/converse/inverse/contrapositive, and developing our very first proof, that vertical angles are congruent. Then took the assessment on coordinate geometry to close out class.
