Did not turn in book work from last week: will be collected next class. Discussed angles of elevation and depression: how to identify them and use them to solve right triangle trig problems. 2B discussed the law of sines, which all classes will explore more next.
Homework: (1A/3A/3B) - worksheet (skip 23-26)

Tuesday
1A: Did not meet because of guest speaker. Continue working on angles of elevation/depression worksheet for Thursday.
3A: Turned in worksheet. Derived the Law of Sines See this video for a similar procedure. (here is the worksheet we completed). Then did an example finding a side length for a non-right triangle, as in this video. It can also be used to find missing angles, which we did in the zip line problem on our practice worksheet. It was similar to this video. Here is a copy of the law of sines worksheet.
Homework: none; trig quiz on Monday. Bring Law of Sines worksheet with you on Thurs.
Wednesday
1B: Worked through some examples, and then completed Law of Sines worksheet.
2B: Introduced the law of sines. See Tuesday 3A info above for material.
Thursday
No school because of snow.
Friday
Today was an A-day, despite being a friday.
1A: Class time went to the writing assessment. Passed out a separate Law of Sines worksheet/tutorial to make up for lost time. Here are the videos to help you out:
