ALL classes except 3B: warm up reviewed trigonometry; passed back assessments, took retakes in class and/or worked on hw for retakes or worked on radians with arc length and sector area
3B: Looked over practice assessment solutions before taking real assessment. Learned about what a radian is, as an alternate approach to measuring angles and curvature that doesn't depend on the arbitrary 360° idea. Converted from degrees to radians using the identity that 180° is the same angle or bend as π radians, Here is the concept of what a single radian is: link

Warm up dealt with proving two triangles similar and then using proportions to find a missing measure. Went over homework and then worked through a sector area problem using radians. Shifted to our last new topic of the course, drawing and identifying cross-sections of 3D solids, especially as it relates to prisms and pyramids. This led to definitions of prisms and pyramids as relates to their rectangular and triangular cross-sections, respectively. Found areas of cross sectional shapes given their 3D solids as well. Finally started to look at how to create 3D solids by revolving flat 2D shapes around an axis and tracing out cylinders and cones.

Warm up dealt with area and scale drawings to find cost. Went over homework, then continued with solids formed by revolving shapes around an axis. Showed calendar for class days until the EOC, then passed out the Congruence Review material ahead of Tuesday's assessment on these topics.
