Warm up was to discover the meaning of the word collinear. Also looked at coplanar points and objects. Went over homework, then debated why we use 360° to describe a full circle and how it is an artificial but useful choice. Looked at types of angles including straight and reflex, and named a variety of angle sets like complementary, supplementary, adjacent, and vertical.

Warm up was to discover the meaning of the terms arc (major and minor) and chord by inquiry. Went over homework, then used whiteboards to create various angle pairs/sets with partners. Then made 2 constructions: the equilateral triangle and the perpendicular bisector.
