No school Monday because of Labor Day. Warm up involved perimeter on the coordinate plane and midpoint. Went over practice test, then took real thing. Looked at what we already knew about the slope of lines and review parallel and perpendicular lines and their slopes, and practiced these with voting eggs.

Warm up involved determining if two given linear equations would be parallel or perpendicular or neither by solving for y to find the slope. Went over homework, passed back assessments and discussed these in groups to identify and correct mistakes. Used whiteboards to play around with slope as it relates to pairs of points and linear equations. Then looked at how to create a rectangle on the coordinate plane using 4 equations that had 2 pairs of parallel lines but simultaneously had 2 pairs of perpendicular lines.
