Warm up involved true/false statements regarding squares, rhombi, and rectangles. Passed back assessments, went over those in small groups. Looked at various applications of quadrilaterals in 3D shapes. Found coordinates for a missing vertex of a given type of quadrilateral on the coordinate plane and learned how to find area of quadrilateral on the coordinate plane using the subtraction of negative space. Introduced how to prove whether a shape is parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus, or square on the coordinate plane by analyzing the midpoints, lengths, and slopes of the diagonals.
