No warm up. Went over homework covering types of reasoning, conditional statements, and the basics of two-column proof. Took an assessment (Covered CO-A1a and CO-A1b). Unpacked a task that we will complete later on in this unit by performing a close-reading, looking for knowledge and skills.
Homework: p. 11: # 1, 4, 7, 9, 11, 15, 16,18 (CO-A1c)
Tuesday/Wednesday
Warm up using voting devices covering review topics from last assessment. Passed back last assessment and gave details about re-assessments. (Best done during directed studies; Monday-Tuesday-Friday are best).
Worked through two-column proof example as well as paragraph proof version and compared/contrasted. Then looked at logical reasoning, symbolic logic, and converse/inverse/contrapositive. (CO-C9a) Began brief discussion on segment measurement and basics of addition. (CO-A1c) Worksheet filled out version
Homework:
p. 34: 9-16 (CO-C9a)
p. 42: 13 (CO-A1c)

Warm up dealt with making a contrapositive out of a non-sense conditional statement, as well as combining a statement and its converse into a biconditional statement. Reviewed homework and then did group work discovery activity with segment addition, midpoints, angle addition, and angle bisection.
