After going over homework, took assessment on geometry foundations. Then did perpendicular bisector construction.

Passed back tests, debriefed tests using peer experts. Did a few practice problems with segment addition, then review perpendicular bisector construction from yesterday. Then constructed the circumcircle and used it to talk about congruence, midpoint, perpendicular, and related concepts. Worked on a midpoint segment addition example. Connected the idea of "average" and the location of the midpoint.

Thursday
Warm up dealt with angle bisector and segment midpoint algebra. Went over homework, then learned the angle bisector construction and practiced it. Then did the perpendicular bisector construction again with another circumcircle and colored in the sections. Finally closed with an origami cube and discussion of congruence, perpendicular, and related terms.

Passed back tests, went over reassessment and grading system. Used peer experts to correct some of the more challenging problems on the test from Monday. Did 2 examples in the textbook using the segment addition postulate, then learned about terms bisect and congruent, demonstrated them in the angle bisector construction. Passed out the practice assessment where we did another angle bisection along with another perpendicular bisector construction. Closed with a midpoint algebra example.
