Warm up was to discover our first trig identity by seeing that sin(Θ)/cos(Θ) = tan (Θ). Passed back and debriefed assessments. Went over homework on coordinate review and worked out how to find area of a triangle on the coordinate plane by subtracting right triangle area. Did a 3-act task involving soda in a glass as it relates to cylinder volume. Examined the meaning of π and used it to develop the circumference formula. Then used that to examine the formula for circle area through both a rearrangement and an unraveling approach. Closed with starting another 3-act task involving two cylinders with equal surface area but unequal volume.
