Hello!
Task 1: Watch review videos (or work on new practice test if you aced this one)
You probably just got your test back. For the next ~20 mins, you should take detailed notes on the videos below based on which question(s) you need help with. I would focus on the first 3 as this will be on the last Q3 assessment as well. (That test is Tuesday!)
#1: Law of Sines to find a side: link
#2: Law of Cosines to find a side, then Law of Sines to find an angle: link
#3: Law of Cosines to find an angle: link
#4: Applied SohCahToa in context: link
#5: the 30-60-90 Triangle: link
#6: the 45-45-90 Triangle: link1 link2
#7: Sine and Cosine of Complementary Angles: link1 link2
Did very well on the test? Only had to watch one video? Then ask Mrs Bryan for a practice test to work on ahead of time :)
Task 2: EOC Prep (READ EVERYTHING BELOW)
When this time is up, you will be taking a practice EOC on the Questar Platform. It is not a grade but you should do your best. The real EOC at the end of April is on the same platform , so one goal for today is become comfortable with this program.
When we've done online practice before (benchmarks, etc.) I've noticed a lot of you goofing around with the highlighter, contrasting colors, etc--don't waste your time please.
Also, you should do most of your calculations on paper. There's no need to use the mouse to write things slowly and less efficiently than you would on paper. Basically just use the computer to enter your answer and go to the next question.
Mrs Bryan will walk you through the login procedure. If you don't get finished before the bell rings, just guess toward the end and submit (which is what you should do on most standardized tests with a time limit).
